Barriers

The venues have different barriers and are not all wheelchair accessible.
The Index is wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible restroom. We try to indicate in the program if a room is wheelchair accessible.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us!

Language

Most events will be held in German. Events are marked with a symbol in the program if there are announced whispered translations into certain languages. If you can imagine translating at an event yourself, please contact us. Otherwise we rely on self-organization.

Helping

The A-Days live from the active cooperation of many individuals, groups and places. If you would like to help before or during the A-Days, be it for individual bar-, küfa-, awareness shifts, with posters, flyers or organizing, please contact us via mail

Covid

Please stay home if you have symptoms. Please come to the events tested. There is generally no mask requirement unless otherwise requested by the event organizers. We will also not control anyone and rely on everyone to act on their own responsibility.
The specific needs can be discussed at each event with all those present.

Sleeping Place Exchange

Sleeping accommodations will be provided by various individuals and groups. If you can provide sleeping space, please contact us here (schlafplatz_atage@riseup.net). If you need a place to sleep, please contact us here (schlafplatz_atage@riseup.net) with the following information:
– From when to when do you need one?
– for how many people?
– do you have needs for flinta*-only spaces, low barriers etc.?
– do you have your own sleeping bag and mat?
Please note that we do not know all the places and people that offer sleeping spaces. If you are worried about that, please tell us – we will find a solution!

Privacy

…is given special attention in left-wing spaces for good reason. Please be careful about what pictures and information you post on the internet. In particular, we ask that you do not take photos of indoor spaces and do not share information in Telegram groups or on social media that we do not publish on the blog ourselves (e.g. room or group names). It hopefully goes without saying that no faces should be visible on publicly posted photos without the consent of all participants.

Awareness-Disclaimer

We try to have an awareness team available at every event.

We want to have a comfortable, safe and respectful atmosphere for everyone who participates in A-Days. For us, that means raising awareness and building a culture of respect and trust. “Awareness” means acknowledging and being aware of verbal, psychological or physical violations of personal boundaries.
We want to provide as little space as possible for discrimination or disrespectful behavior. No person should be able to threaten or scare you. No matter in what way. You decide what crosses your boundaries, not another person. You decide how far people can approach you.
On the other hand, we want to be attentive to each other. We want to treat each other fairly. In all group processes, it is important to be aware of your own speaking behavior: how long you speak, whether everyone is able to participate, what words and jokes are used, and that there is no verbal aggression or dominance of individuals or groups.
Also, if you can talk, you can listen. We all have different experiences and perceive the world differently. Don’t deny other people their perceptions, even if they don’t align with yours. If a person who has experienced discrimination calls you out on discriminatory behavior, they perceive your behavior as discriminatory, regardless of whether you “fight back” by dismissing their perception as wrong.
