4-6 pm Meuterei: Input + Workshop: Homelands, Sense of Responsibility, and Rural Activism Using the Example of Weißenfels

An examination of symbolic concepts of homeland and how they influence our political actions. Discourses on individual, collective, and animal perspectives. For which places, people, groups, symbols do we feel responsible, and how do we build connections? Once a year, we bring the Leipzig Antifa to the countryside, or to Weißenfels, to demonstrate against one of the largest slaughterhouses in East Germany: against irresponsible handling regarding animal exploitation, working conditions, and climate consequences. What is the situation and who is still active? With the help of sources from different directions and perspectives, we want to explore these questions – from abstract to concrete.
6-8 pm Meuterei: Workshop: Adbusting with Police & Military

Adbusting: This is the politically motivated altering of advertising posters through minimal invasive vandalism. If done with posters of the police or military, one risked house searches, DNA analysis, and reports to the counter-terrorism center in 2018/19. Because the state security department at the LKA Berlin had discovered that Adbusting, for example, made the Bundeswehr “quite ridiculous.” Thanks to the cheeky public relations work of the solidarity group, it was possible to make the authorities even more ridiculous for their exaggerated and disproportionate actions than Adbustings ever could. There are now several rulings from prosecutors and police authorities that opening advertising vitrines and hanging up one’s own posters is not punishable. In our workshop, we will tell the extraordinary story of this rare success and show plenty of photographs of real Adbusting and together explore the possibilities and limits of this form of action.

La Mushkila is a small grassroot group that wants to support people on the move in their everyday needs: food, water, access to medical care, coordination of places to sleep, … The area forces them to travel a lot by car, and shopping for food distribution is unfortunately not 100% free. Therefore they are collecting donations before they head south in June, to set up longterm structures there.
Lets grab some beers/limos/”mushkila-mules” against all police violence & for unlimited freedom of movement.
